It seems like the parents have no idea what I work on in OT with their child... They don't even know what an occupational therapist does 😲

I'm a Teacher

My students receive OT, but I don't know how to provide support or augment progress in the classroom.

I don't know how an occupational therapist can help my students or what questions I can ask them.

I'M A PARENT

My child is not able to keep up with his/her peers in the classroom and I don't know who can help.

My child receives OT but it is difficult to reach him/her with a question and I always feel out of the loop. I don't know what I can do at home to help my child's OT skills

I'M A SEIT, SLP, PT, ETC.

My student needs occupational therapy desperately but was either not approved or does not have access to OT.

Now I need to help this child tackle issues I'm not familiar with. What do I do?!

My student/client receives occupational therapy but I don't understand why they need it...they seem ok during my sessions. 🤔
